Aardman Animations’ Hen Run: Daybreak of the Nugget will world premiere at this 12 months’s BFI London Movie Pageant on October 14, two months forward of December 15 Netflix debut.
Directed by Sam Fell, Daybreak of the Nugget is the long-awaited sequel to 2000’s stop-motion hit Hen Run. That is the second 12 months in a row that Netflix will premiere an animated title on the London pageant. Final 12 months, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and My Father’s Dragon each debuted there.
Daybreak of the Nugget is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Sam Fell, who beforehand helmed ParaNorman and Flushed Away.
In an announcement, the director stated:

Netflix’s synopsis reads:
Having pulled off a death-defying escape from Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has lastly discovered her dream – a peaceable island sanctuary for the entire flock, removed from the hazards of the human world. When she and Rocky hatch slightly lady referred to as Molly, Ginger’s completely happy ending appears full. However again on the mainland, the entire of chicken-kind faces a brand new and horrible risk. For Ginger and her workforce, even when it means placing their hard-won freedom in danger — this time, they’re breaking in.
Daybreak of the Nugget is written by Karey Kirkpatrick and government produced by Nick Park, Peter Lord, and Carla Shelley.
