When I was in middle school Victoria Justice was in my city filming (I live near a building that’s regularly used in movies). My friends and I went and waited outside for several hours (my friend really wanted to meet her). A security guard asked why we were there and we were honest, and he went and told her. Her next filming break she came out to greet us and take photos 🥺 she was sooooo sweet. Said she couldn’t believe we waited so long just to see her. I’ve still got her autograph!
Another time in high school I was actually doing extra work on a tv show being filmed in my city again. We were specifically told not to talk to the actors unless spoken too, which we all respected. I was placed next to a lovely woman who was incredibly chatty and kind to me the entire time I was beside her. 15 minutes later she was called to film her scene. I had been talking to fucking Anna Gunn and had no idea.

I used to be a assistant Director of publicity for a anime convention, and being that I was so high up on the list met that I was able to go into the green room to get food, or just sit and relax for a little bit… the green room is also where all of the celebs that were at the convention hold up and just chitchat rest and wait for panel or photo op timeframe… one year. We had a whole bunch of really awesome actors and actresses and including Sonny Strait, Christopher Sabat; and two others, who I just forgot their names, but they were going around talking about how blind they were, and they were commenting on their glasses. They passing around their glasses to see and I just piped up and I said oh I’m blind too and and Sonny was like ok let me see your glasses, so yeah I let him try my glasses on he said ‘Yep she’s way more blind than everybody else’ and he proceeded to pass my glasses around to everyone else in the room

Finding out a celebrity especially your idol is mean is heartbreaking. But I do think there’s a lot of celebrities who aren’t horrible, and are actually nice (excluding the nice ones mentioned in this video). I’m thinking of adding the names of the celebs but I’m not sure.
I once went to a party with one of my friends, a huge drag queen party. I knew a few people because I went to school with them and wanted to support them, but then it was just really overpacked and hot and I started getting dizzy and not feeling well. I went to sit down, but fainted on the way there. I woke up next to a stranger on a bright red couch, wearing a super sparkly dress and a huge blond wig. I was so out of it, but when I was totally better and had some water, I realized that person was freaking Ru Paul!!! Absolutely kind and amazing person, he was so worried about me and I will never forget that moment no matter how embarrassed I was
The guy who mentioned encounter with Selena was just sharing how shock he was that a famous person gave him the time and treated him equal on her level. I heard a lot of positive stories about Selena being real and a genuine caring person.
Strangely, I have a few celebrity encounters from living and working in Pendleton, Oregon. Because of the Pendleton Roundup (A large rodeo festival) and it being the only town on the freeway for miles and miles, it kinda became a celebrity hotspot. My mom was a server at Denny's and met many celebirties. Garth Brooks she said was so down to earth, she had no idea it was him until her friend pointed it out. He was just a regular guy with a small group but very very kind. Ice T had a large entourage and one guy was so extremely rude and demanding, and my mom is a 5'2" spitfire and told the guy off, Ice T comes in at that time and asks what the problem is, my mom tells him his friend is acting a fool, and he immediately turns and chastises the guy, telling him to behave or he would find his own way home. She said Ice T himself was very gracious and a great tipper. I met LeAnn Rhimes and she was a total hag. She was supposed to do a fan signing at the Walmart I worked at and I worked in the electronics department so I was helping the CD vendor set up. LeAnn Rhimes was pitching a fit about doing a signing and complained and threw the "I'm a big celebrity, this is below me blah blah blah" BS so the vendor looks at me, we both nod, and she looks at LeAnn Rhimes and says, "You think meeting your fans is below you? Then Walmart selling your CDs is below us", and then pulls the entire display and all CDs of hers out of the store. We didn't sell another for awhile after that. But later I was the sous chef at the country club and Tracy Byrd was a sweetheart and listened to me tell him stories of bass fishing with my dad. And Willie Nelson was so kind and mild mannered. And Bruce Willis was so awesome. He was kind and gracious when I could barely speak because I was such a star struck teenage girl.

Anna was doing her book signing at Barneys not Barnes & Nobel. It's a store like Saks. So they probably wanted her to wear some of their clothing for advertising. That should have been talked about when the book signing was set up. If it was set up or not the way she treated people was totally uncalled for and showed her true colors.
I swear the story about Selena made me well up. I´ve met my favorite singer so many times that I have lost count and we even followed each other and friended each other on social media and would exchange messages. he was such a wonderful, kind and generous person. He was also humble and a gentleman. Never refused a photo or an autograph from anyone and would sign anything you gave him (a friend who went to Australia to watch the group he was in perform met him at a hotel and asked him to sign a didgeridoo.) I even named one of my girls after him and he was surprised. sadly he died from COVID almost 2 years ago (December 19th 2021) and a piece of me went with him. (don´t care if you think i´m crazy! you don´t know the complete story) the last time we met in person was 3 days after a concert in Madrid in 2018 where I work at the airport and he was stunned to see me there as i was when I saw him at my job (think Golden Arches). i didn´t want to bother him for a photo but later as he was getting a burger and my co worker saw me freak out and after asking why she went up to him and said "Excuse me, my co worker is a fan of yours, is it ok if she can have a photo with you?" He looked at me, chucked and said "of course!" And that was the last time we ever met in person. I know not everyone´s experience with their heroes are pleasant but Carlos was always a gentleman. God I miss him. sorry this is long.

Not many celebrities care to know about their fans like that and just go through the motions. The guy seems to be a little mean. I met mich turner and i wanted to take a picture but my phone had died, but she spoke to me and my dad and was honestly such a sweetheart and took the time to ask about my hobbies and where we were from and so on and i also met marry berry that same day she was taking pictures with everyone and she took my to her side asked a few questions and smiled for pictures… Unfortunately i was a nervous reck and coukdnt get my words out so i looked like a real idiot 😂 i was only 13!
