BIGHIT MUSIC has firmly denied plagiarism accusations relating to BTS’s Jungkook’s “Seven.”
On August 22, one media outlet reported that Jungkook’s “Seven” allegedly borrowed a important portion of Fin.Ok.L’s music “Time of masks,” which was launched in 2000.
In response to the allegations, BTS’s company BIGHIT MUSIC said, “We wish to inform you that the claims of copyright infringement relating to Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ usually are not true.”
They continued, “‘Seven’ is a music that was made via the collaboration of 5 overseas composers, and it’s a creation that’s utterly unrelated to the music on a home album from 24 years in the past like some are claiming. They’re one-sided claims that don’t meet any standards equivalent to substantial similarity and rules in figuring out plagiarism.”
Since its launch, Jungkook’s “Seven” has been making historical past by setting new data and topping quite a few charts together with these on Billboard, Spotify, the Official Charts, and extra.
