What’s great about Harry’s audition was that before he even sang he said that although he was confident in himself he also thought that Simon could make him even better.
That’s real confidence. He knew what he could do but he also was not arrogant and knew he should listen to the experience of the judges.
Also props to him being prepared. When the first song bombed he took Simons criticism professionally and moved on with another song in acapella without being thrown off. No wonder he became successful.
