The sixth and ultimate season of The Crown will function Prince Charles (now King Charles III) getting married to Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Netflix teased the storyline on Monday as a part of a sequence of social media posts on upcoming UK originals. It posted an image of an order of service from the royal marriage ceremony, which occurred in 2005.
The teaser confirms that The Crown‘s ultimate season will function Charles grieving the demise of Princess Diana in 1997 and later shifting on to his second spouse, the now Queen Camilla.
Talking on the Edinburgh TV Competition final month, The Crown producers promised that Diana’s demise can be dealt with with care within the early episodes of Season 6.
“The present may be huge and noisy, however we’re not. We’re considerate folks and we’re delicate folks. There have been very cautious, lengthy conversations about how we have been going to do it,” stated govt producer Suzanne Mackie.
“The viewers will decide it ultimately, however I believe it’s been delicately, thoughtfully recreated. Elizabeth Debicki is a unprecedented actress and he or she was so considerate and thoughtful. She beloved Diana. There’s an enormous quantity of respect from us all, I hope that’s evident.”
