Viewers will not be beginning their mornings with Michael Strahan this week.
The previous soccer participant might be absent from the Good Morning America desk a little bit longer.
“Michael Strahan is not going to be with us this week as he’s coping with some private household issues,” an ABC spokesperson stated in an announcement obtained by E! Information Nov. 7. “We respect everybody’s ideas and considerations.”
Strahan sometimes co-anchors GMA together with Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Ginger Zee. Nevertheless, the final time the 51-year-old—who joined the GMA workforce in 2014—appeared on the morning information present was on Oct. 26. Juju Chang and Linsey Davis have been filling in for Strahan throughout his absence.
Along with the morning information present, the previous New York Giants participant has been away from his soccer analyst duties. Strahan was not on air through the Nov. 5 broadcast of Fox NFL Sunday—together with his co-host Curt Menefee telling viewers, “Michael Strahan is not with us this week, coping with a private household matter.”
