My best friend since I was in kindergarten's name is Benjamin and he is a child actor who has been acting since he was four. His mom was a big actress beforehand and so that helped him get offers and get into the acting industry, but he mainly chose it for himself. I think child acting is part the child's choice (if it wasn't then they would just choose to quit), but the parents have some things to do with it.
