Textual content description supplied by the architects. This light spatial curve of the footbridge is constructed as a clean path based mostly on the dynamics of pedestrian and bike owner motion. The development of the bridge humbly responds to the panorama of Prague, to the connection to the Holešovice and Karlín banks, in addition to to the connection of Štvanice island.
The bridge is supported by two embankment abutments, two piers on the perimeters of Štvanice island, and two piers within the unnavigable arm of the Vltava River. A ramp descends freely in direction of the island, the plan curve of which copies the curve of the sting of the island.
