Another “Masters of the Air” episode is out, and it’s drawing awesome reactions.
Episode seven of the WWII Apple TV+ series about American bomber crews dropped Friday on the streaming giant, and as expected, people couldn’t get enough.
Without spoiling much, the episode focused heavily on Buck and Bucky’s time as POWs in Stalag Luft III and the targeting of Berlin. That’s about as much as I can say without getting into the nitty gritty.
It’s worth noting, fans of “The Great Escape” will be very familiar with the setting of this episode and the POW camp. Read into that as much as you’d like! If you know, you know.

You are really lacking out when you’re not already watching “Masters of the Air.” It is the primary main hit of 2024, and does an unbelievable job of capturing the chaos and carnage bomber crews needed to expertise in WWII.
It was a brutally robust job that resulted in an extremely excessive seize charge. Making it to 25 missions unscathed just about required a miracle, particularly within the opening phases of the air conflict when German air defenses had been extremely robust.
Episode seven was every little thing followers had been hoping for and as a HUGE fan of “The Nice Escape,” it was superior seeing the connection to “Masters of the Air” – regardless of it being an insanely darkish subject. The Germans executing these escaped POWs was disgusting, evil, gross and one among WWII’s darkest moments.
I am glad “Masters of the Air” coated it, even when simply briefly. Everybody ought to learn extra in regards to the breakout and executions that adopted at Stalag Luft III. It should enrage you.
