‘Smoke Sauna Sisterhood’ Wins Greatest Documentary at European Movie Awards

The thirty sixth European Movie Awards are underway on the Enviornment within the German capital of Berlin. The awards have been voted on by the 4,600 members of the European Movie Academy. Round 1,000 company are anticipated on the occasion.

Jonathan Glazer’s “The Zone of Curiosity” and Aki Kaurismäki’s “Fallen Leaves” led the European Movie Awards race after nominations for the main classes had been revealed. Among the many nominees attending the awards are German actor Leonie Benesch (“The Lecturers’ Lounge”), German actor Christian Friedel (“The Zone of Curiosity”), Italian director Matteo Garrone (“Me Captain”), British director Jonathan Glazer (“The Zone of Curiosity”), Polish director Agnieszka Holland (“Inexperienced Border”), German actor Sandra Hüller (“Anatomy of a Fall,” “The Zone of Curiosity”), British actor Mia McKenna-Bruce (“How you can Have Intercourse”), Finnish actor Alma Pöysti (“Fallen Leaves”), German actor Thomas Schubert (“Afire”), French director Justine Triet (“Anatomy of a Fall”) and Finnish actor Jussi Vatanen (“Fallen Leaves”).
