Okay-pop artists had an unbelievable 12 months in Japan!
This week, Billboard Japan printed its annual year-end charts for 2023, and Okay-pop artists claimed a whopping six of the highest 10 spots on this 12 months’s Scorching Albums Chart.
Stray Kids took No. 3 on the Scorching Albums Chart for 2023 with their Japanese EP “Social Path (feat. LiSA) / Tremendous Bowl -Japanese ver.-,” whereas their first Japanese studio album “THE SOUND” ranked No. 5 for the 12 months.
SEVENTEEN claimed a formidable three spots on this 12 months’s high 10, and notably, two of them went to Korean albums. The group’s Korean mini album “FML” took No. 4 for 2023, adopted by their Japanese best-of compilation album “ALWAYS YOURS” at No. 5 and their most up-to-date Korean mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” at No. 7.
In the meantime, TXT’s Japanese studio album “SWEET” made the year-end record at No. 10.
