A portray of water lilies by French impressionist Claude Monet has offered for $74 million, as a part of a vigorous fall artwork public sale season.

“Le bassin aux nympheas” topped the projected sale worth of $65 million when it went underneath the hammer at Christie’s public sale home in New York on Thursday evening.
Different notable gross sales included twentieth century expressionist painter Richard Diebenkorn’s “Recollections of a Go to to Leningrad” which offered for $46 million, whereas fellow American Joan Mitchell’s “Untitled” went for $29 million.
