Jay-Z has weighed in on a longstanding (hypothetical) web debate over whether or not to decide on a meal with the person himself or half 1,000,000 {dollars}.
“You’ve gotta take the cash,” the rapper/producer/entrepreneur advised Gayle King in an interview with CBS.
“You’ve received all that within the music for $10.99,” he continued “I wouldn’t let you know to chop a foul deal. Like, take the $500,000, go purchase some albums, and hearken to the albums.”
“It’s all there,” Jay-Z continued. “For those who piece it collectively and actually hearken to the music for the phrases, nicely, what it’s, it’s all there.”
Jay-Z met up with King for an unique tour of “The Ebook of HOV,” an exhibit on the Brooklyn Public Library that explores his work and profession.
He advised King his music is the blueprint of his life.
“All the pieces that I stated was gonna occur, occurred,” he stated. “All the pieces that I stated I wished to do, I’ve completed.”
