Following on from the primary photographs arriving final month, we now have footage from the reboot of Frasier, which sees Kelsey Grammer’s shrink heading again from Seattle (the place his earlier present was set) to Boston (locale of Cheers, the place the character first appeared). Because the footage exhibits, we’ll see Frasier reuniting together with his son Freddy (right here performed by Jack Cutmore-Scot) and assembly Freddy’s girlfriend Eve, performed by Jess Salgueiro.
After which there’s Toks Olagundoye’s Olivia, one other new character who’s operating an Ivy League college’s psychiatry division (who finally ends up giving our protagonist a job), and a tweed-tastic Nicholas Lyndhurst. Lyndhurst performs Alan Cornwall, certainly one of Frasier’s outdated buddies from school who’s now moved up on the planet to change into a professor himself.
The strain is clearly on to duplicate the success of the unique Frasier, which ran between 1993 and 2004. This new model arrives on Paramount+ on 13 October with two episodes.
