Actor Alec Baldwin appeared at a pro-Palestinian demonstration in New York Metropolis on Monday and was filmed getting right into a heated conflict with a protester that culminated with the star being escorted away by police.
It’s not clear why Baldwin was within the space or what precisely led as much as the confrontation on the Manhattan rally.
Video of the incident reveals the 65-year-old actor talking to 2 or three protesters with a severe look on his face.
At one level he says to at least one protester, “That’s my enterprise. That’s my enterprise.”
A protester is heard asking Baldwin, “You’re employed for Hollywood, do you condemn Israel?”
“You’ve already made up your thoughts … each query you’ve acquired, proper?” Baldwin replied. “I’m in Hollywood’s pockets, you stated? You ask silly questions. Ask me a sensible query! Ask a sensible query!” as he pushed his physique into that protester.
Then a number of law enforcement officials surrounded Baldwin and escorted him away from the group.
The protester yelled, “Go f— your self” and “Why did you even come right here?” and Baldwin appeared to yell again, “Shut the f— up” as he was escorted away.
Neither a consultant for Baldwin nor the New York Metropolis Police Division responded to requests for touch upon the incident.
