Dana Carvey’s oldest son Dex Carvey’s official reason behind demise has been revealed greater than two months after he handed away at age 32.

Dex died from an unintentional drug overdose, in accordance with a report by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner obtained by People Tuesday.

He had fentanyl, ketamine and cocaine in his system on the time of his demise.

In November 2023, Dana and his spouse, Paula Zwagerman, introduced in a heartbreaking joint assertion that their son had died.

“Final evening we suffered a horrible tragedy. Our beloved son, Dex, died of an unintentional drug overdose. He was 32 years outdated,” they wrote via Instagram.

“Dex packed so much into these 32 years. He was extraordinarily proficient at so many issues — music, artwork, movie making, comedy — and pursued all of them passionately.”

The “Wayne’s World” star, 68, and Zwagerman mentioned their late son made individuals love life, however “most of all, he liked his household, his pals and his girlfriend, Kaylee.”

Days after Dex’s surprising demise, Dana took to social media to thank his followers for his or her love and help.
